Croydon Park
Public School offers a quality, comprehensive education for children in years
K-6.
Croydon Park Public School is centrally located on
Georges River Road in Croydon Park, in Sydney's inner west. We have some 360
students K-6 from diverse cultural backgrounds. There are 34 different
languages
spoken by students in our school!
At Croydon Park we value inclusiveness, tolerance,
understanding, creativity, co-operation, honesty and persistence. We aim to
provide a curriculum that is challenging and relevant and one that promotes the
intellectual, moral, social, emotional and physical development of all students.
We encourage our students to participate in and contribute to the life of the
school and that of the wider community. We value
community and
parental participation in the education process.
The grounds of our school provide
extensive play areas including a basketball and netball court, cricket nets, a
covered outdoor learning area and large grassed area. Our classrooms are
bright, friendly spaces. Large Kindergarten rooms afford a gentle, structured
introduction to school life for our youngest students.
Our large
library is fully stocked with the latest children's literature and reference
materials. The library also has a number of computers with internet access
available for supervised use. CPPS is proud of our large, state of the art
computer lab. Students benefit from full class, hands-on instruction in the use
of computers.
